Petrochemical, polymer and chemical producers move granules and powders in large volumes, often where static electricity is a real hazard. For flammable powders and hazardous areas, the choice between Type B, C and D matters more than any other specification.
Bags we supply for petrochemicals and chemicals
- Type B, C and D FIBCs: Type B has a lower breakdown voltage for dry, flammable powders. Type C is conductive, with conductive threads, and must be grounded during use. Type D uses static-dissipative fabric that needs no grounding, for flammable powders and environments with flammable gases or vapours.
- Type A and baffled FIBCs: plain woven bulk bags for non-flammable industrial goods, and baffled bags that keep their shape for efficient storage of chemicals.
- Pallet-less jumbo bags: an integrated rigid base for forklift handling of plastic granules and chemicals without wooden pallets, protecting the load from floor moisture.
- Laminated woven bags: moisture-resistant sacks for chemical products.
- Valve bags: self-closing valve bags for powdered chemicals on automatic filling lines.
- Container liners: for shipping chemicals and powdered or granular materials in 20 ft and 40 ft containers.
Type D bags with CROHMIQ®
In September 2025 UAC signed an agreement with CROHMIQ® to produce the CROHMIQ® Type D bag in the Middle East. The partnership brings static-protective bulk bag technology to the region for customers who handle flammable powders and work in hazardous areas.
